New Housing Survey Shows Potential Opportunity for Homebuyers

MBS Highway surveyed over 2,500 mortgage and real estate professionals around the country for current housing market conditions.

The results for the August 2022 release showed that 53% of respondents reported their market was still steady to very active while 16% saw moderate to significant pricing increases. Of those who said activity was slower, many cited that it was due to a lack of inventory.

In addition, many are still seeing multiple offers, but less than previously. If you’re looking to purchase a home, this slight cool-down in activity may present a wonderful opportunity!
